This book definitely has a very unique theme. It is overflowing with humor, more so than Carpe Jugulum. I found it quite predictable, unlike most if Terry Pratchett’s books. It is one of those books where the main character makes a dumb mistake that nobody actually would in the real world but you still knew the character would. I enjoyed it anyway. It is quite confusing at the end so you might have to read over it again, carefully. The end also feels a bit like the author cheated. This might make it sound like it is not worth reading, but it is really a good book. Some may find it slightly disturbing, although I didn’t. It is essential to your Terry Pratchett collection, with it’s unique perspectives of life on the Disc (the magical world that is the setting for most of Terry Pratchett’s books).
8.5/10
